Dental Bridges
Bridges have been a part of dentistry throughout history. Missing teeth can be replaced with a “fixed” bridge that is not removable. It stays in your mouth permanently. Bridges replace missing teeth and are supported by the existing teeth surrounding the space. Those teeth are shaped to receive crowns. The crowns are attached to a replacement bridge tooth. The bridge is then cemented to the crown teeth.

The obvious advantage of this type of bridge over a removable partial is that it’s not removable. It stays firmly in place. It is very cosmetically pleasing and looks natural.
